Wanting to convert a consent form into a PDF within Vetter? In this article, we will go over how to do so!
The clinic will first need to create a new letter, please review the steps below. After that is pre-made, the clinic can copy and paste the text within the PDF/document into that new letter.
The clinic will want to use the variables listed to the left for auto-filled options. Each section has multiple options to select from, one favorite is the "signature field" under "Letter information". Clinics can have their clients sign any consent form via an Ipad, Air tablet, or computer!
Please do review the further steps/options below for working with letters:
To create a letter template:
- Click on "Settings"
- Click on "templates" and select "new template"
- Complete the form that appears (make sure to select "letter" as the type") and click save. You will be redirected to a blank letter template.
- Enter your letter content
- Format the content as desired
- Insert the applicable variable from the left side of the page
- Click "save"
To use a letter template in a medical note:
- Navigate to the applicable medical note
- Click on "documents" and select "new letter"
- Complete the form that appears
- Click "save." You will then be redirected to the letter, which will appear in print preview mode.
- To use a letter template in a patient or client profile:
- Navigate to the applicable patient or client profile
- Click on "documents" and select "new letter"
- Complete the form that appears
- Click "save"
To use a letter template when checking in:
- Click on "Schedule"
- Click on the applicable appointment
- Click on "check-in"
- Select the letter(s) you wish to print in the "print letters" field
- Complete the check-in process
