Exempting clients from taxes, late fees, or billing statements
To exempt a client from being taxed, being charged late fees, or receiving billing statements:
- Navigate to the client of interest.
- Click "Edit Profile"
- Choose "Exempt from" and select a value from the drop-down list, repeat as needed
- Click "Save + Done"
When a client is exempt from taxes, no taxes will be applied to any of that client's invoices. Similarly, when a client is exempt from late fees, no late fees will be applied to that client's past due invoices. If a client is exempt from receiving billing statements, that client will automatically be ignored when billing statements are emailed or printed from the Accounts Receivable report.
