Finding patients

There are three ways to find a patient - by searching, by using the patient list, and from reports.

To search for a patient:
  1. Click on "Patients"
  2. Enter the patient's name, the patient's ID, the patient's owner's name, rabies tag number, or chip number in the search box at the top right of the page
  3. Click on the applicable patient in the list of potential matches that appears
To find a patient using the patient list:
  1. Click on "Patients"
  2. Click on "Patient List" and select whether to view all patients, active patients, inactive patients, or deceased patients
  3. Click on the letter that is the first letter of the patient's name
  4. Scroll to the applicable patient
The hashtag '#' button will display patients with names that begin with a special character or number.

To find a patient using reports:
  1. Click on "Reports"
  2. Click on "patients" in the middle of the page
  3. Select the applicable report (i.e., Active Patients List, Inactive Patients List, or Deceased Patients List)
  4. Scroll to the applicable patient in the results
Press Ctrl + F on your keyboard to search the page by a keyword such as the patient's name or breed.
