LifeLearn ClientEd Integration

LifeLearn ClientEd is a pet health education library that contains more than 2,100 handouts covering a wide range of pet health topics. Our integration allows practices to automatically incorporate these handouts into your workflow. For example, an action can be used to incorporate a handout on diabetes whenever insulin is prescribed.

To enable the integration:
  1. Click on Settings
  2. Click on “Add Ons”
  3. Click on the “plus” icon for the “LifeLearn ClientEd integration” row
  4. Enter your ClientEd credentials, and click “enable”
A subscription to ClientEd is required to use this integration.

Once enabled, you will be able to incorporate ClientEd articles into your workflow using actions or whenever needed. The articles would then be available to print or email when checking out an appointment, or at any time directly from the “documents” folder in the patient or client profile.

To incorporate a ClientEd article using actions:
  1. Navigate to the applicable inventory item in the Inventory module
  2. Click on “actions,” and select the option to add an action
  3. In the form that appears:
    1. Select “add attachment” as the action
    2. Select “LifeLearn ClientEd” as the source
    3. Select the article(s) you wish to incorporate by searching for them by name in the “attachment(s)” field
    4. Complete the remaining fields, and repeat as needed

To incorporate a ClientEd article manually:
  1. Navigate to the applicable client or patient
  2. Click on the “documents” folder, and select the option to add an attachment
  3. In the form that appears:
    1. Select “LifeLearn ClientEd” as the source
    2. Select the article(s) you wish to incorporate by searching for them by name in the “attachment(s)” field
    3. Complete the remaining fields, if applicable
    4. Click “save”
