Creating a prescription letter

Wanting to send a prescription to a client directly through Vetter? Maybe you already wrote the prescription using a physical prescription pad and want to track that record on the client's profile? In this article, we'll touch on the best way to do both things!

We have a pre-made prescription letter that we can upload to the clinic's letter templates. Please do give us call or email us to have that uploaded.

The clinic can also create their own prescitoon letter. Please do refer to Working with letters for fruther steps.

Please do follow the steps below to upload the prescition letter:  
  1. Navagite to the patients profile
  2. Click on the documents tab
  3. Select New Letter with the green + icon
  4. Fill out the options for the new letter


Once the prescrition letter is uplaoded the clinic can edit the letter per patient. The clinic can even export that to be emailed to the client or even printed as well with the export option.

To use a letter template in a medical note:
  1. Navigate to the applicable medical note
  2. Click on "documents" and select "new letter"
  3. Complete the form that appears
  4. Click "save."  You will then be redirected to the letter, which will appear in print preview mode.
  5. To use a letter template in a patient or client profile:
  6. Navigate to the applicable patient or client profile
  7. Click on "documents" and select "new letter"
  8. Complete the form that appears
  9. Click "save"
