Applying A Referral Source

Referral sources, which include clients, contacts and marketing campaigns, are assigned to individual appointments when the appointment is created (or later edited).  Simply start typing the name of the individual or marketing campaign that generated that appointment and select it from the list.

A client's profile will also display the referral source for that client.  By default, the first referral source used when the client's first appointment was created will display.  However, you can edit the referral source by editing the client's profile.

Referral Source Report

The Referral Source report summarizes the number of appointments, value of appointment and the return on investment for each referral type for the date range selected.  The report will also display inactive marketing campaigns in a separate section.  This report helps you view who is sending you business, as well as the effectiveness of your various marketing campaigns.
