Automatic microchip registration with PetLink
Background
PetLink is a leading microchip registration service.
Our integration with PetLink will make sure that every microchip is automatically registered without requiring practice staff or clients to get involved. All of the pets that were microchipped that day will be registered that night, and PetLink will send the practice a confirmation the following morning.
Setting up your account at PetLink
First step is to setup the PetLink account for your clinic:

Visit www.petlink.net (that's .net, not .com).

Select Register from the navigation bar at the top of the page, then select Register Vet Practice.

Fill out the required information requested. Be sure to select Vetter as your software.

You will receive an email confirmation when your facility's PetLink account is activated.

Inside your Vetter system go to the Marketplace and select PetLink, click “Enable.”
Enabling the integration in Vetter
Once your Petlink account has been setup, here's how to enable the integration in Vetter:
- Click on Settings
- Click on "add ons"
- Click on the plus icon for the PetLink row
Once enabled, PetLink will reach out to complete the on-boarding process. When that process is completed, microchip registrations will start automatically.
