Securely storing credit card information on file


This feature is only available as part of Integrated Payments

We allow for the secure storing of client credit card information as part of Integrated Payments.  Cards that are stored on file can be used to pay invoices, as well as to automatically charge wellness plans payments.  To ensure maximum security, card information is not actually stored in our system.  Instead, we store an encrypted token that is associated with the actual card information that is securely stored.  When a transaction is requested for a particular card, we provide the encrypted token, which they then decrypt in order to charge the applicable card.  

There are two ways to add a client's credit card information to his/her profile - when taking payment, or in the client's profile.  

To add a card when taking a payment:
  1. Select the option to "key-in" a card in the payment form
  2. Check the option to store the card on file
To add a card to the client's profile:

Navigate to the client's profile:
  1. Click on the "billing" tab in the middle of the page, hover over "new transaction," and click on "add payment method"
  2. Complete the form that appears
Once a card is stored on file it can be used to process a payment by selecting the "Card on file" payment type.
